The YTPlayer would not work on mobile devices due to vendors policy on javascript media controls; you should provide a background image as fall back for mobiles. You can do that by replacing /images/video-placeholder.jpg file with one of your own. keep the same name.
does that mean just uploading a video-placeholder.gif file ? Tried that but does not seem to work: removed the matching jpg file and now background appears as empty/grey. Any idea ? Thanks.
How to make to replace in the home page image with a youtube video??
Hi,
in theme options -> home options -> home layout type select 'Full Screen Video Background' to have the same as in:
http://clapat.ro/themes/newave-wordpress/
(select Home Page Templates -> Full Screen Video Background from the left-side style switcher)
Thanks
Thank you.

Hi Laurent
if you name the file video-placeholder.gif
you need to modify
.video-section {
background-image: url('images/video-placeholder.gif');
}
in style.css
Thank you.
