I just went into the backend of my website to update a few things and I can't update any of my pages because I cant access the Visual Composer. I've attached a photo of what it looks like on the back end. Nothing is visable. When I click on Visual Composer is links to a page asking me to pay for it however Visual Composer came with my theme when I purchased Newave.
I need to figure out what is going on as soon as possible as I have a ton of changes that need to be made to the website.
Most likely the visual composer is out dated. We can install the latest if you provide wp admin username and password in a private comment AND make sure you support period for the theme is not expired. if it has, you must extend it.
Another example of how things changed - I used Visual Composer to create the services carousel so why is the Visual Composer section saying I have a blank page but in the Service Box is has the information in code. I don't write code, hence the need to use the Visual Composer but I'm nervous to change anything as I don't want to ruin the website. See attached.

You will either have to buy a full license or contact us to update it. We periodically release theme updates which contain the latest version of the plugin as well.

we have updated the theme with the latest WPBakery. To get the latest version of the theme just re-download it from themeforest

Excuse me ? Are you selling a theme which only works with 5.3 php version ? That version is not supported anywhere... You have to pay extra money monthly if you want to use this version of php on a server...

I was able to get the video to work on the home page however on mobile the video does not work and instead there is a blank space that says "Video Placeholder Image". Is there a way I can fix this so the video will play? Or at the very least can I plug in a new photo so it looks professional?

Also, is there a way to remove the grey filter over the image on mobile and video on computer?

I'm using your last theme version and last php version and last wpbakery version and last wordpress version. And it does not work.
