Congrats for this beautiful theme. I am new in WordPress and
currently do not manage to embed a masonry grid on a portfolio item via
visual composer. The grid is displayed in the preview but not at the
live site. Any ideas?

p.s.: same applies for slideshows created with SmartSlider 3 via Visual Composer. There I have to go to classic mode and insert the shortcode of the slideshow manually.
The reason you can see the grid in the preview and not in the showcase slider is that in the slider the content is loaded with ajax. So any non-standard VC components requiring additional libraries are not displayed properly.
If you download the latest version from envato and go to showcase page options you will see an option to enable or not Ajax loading. Just set it to No and you will be able to see the whole content.
