I've purchased a webfont license of Hoefler Text through typography.com. The included documentation says to paste this line into the head element:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="//cloud.typography.com/804756/725988/css/fonts.css" />

If the fonts are online then you must enqueue the font styles similar to google fonts in /include/scripts-config.php, line 54
