    can you tell me how to add a pre-header with drop-down-menu in this theme?

    you can try with a plugin or modify the implementation /sections/menu_section.php to add your drop-down to the menu

    Otherwise not really sure what you mean by pre-header (header = menu? )

    Anyway, examining /sections/menu_section.php will help you figure out the best solution.
