Hi Antonio, if you can send us wp admin access in a private comment with full rights using Appearance -> Theme File Editor, we need to comment some lines in /css/page-builders.css
Lazy loading we do not recommend as the image files need to be physically present in the page at the loading time to allow dynamic effects to init and take place.
I'd also like to ask you for some more information about mobile optimization. This template is lacking in its handling of images and text on the mobile side. It's really not responsive. For example, the images on my site's home page look bad when viewed on mobile. Can't you add a function that allows me to insert the hero banner for desktop and the hero banner for mobile? Because they have two completely different sizes, and obviously the entire effect is lost.
Hey Antonio, that's great now regarding mobile image responsiveness - this may be a matter of natural cropping inside the current viewport while preserving the original aspect ratio.
Yes, let's just say that what you linked doesn't answer my question or solve the problem.
I'm attaching some screenshots for a possible solution (which I think could be useful to all users).
Basically, I added the mobile image field using a CPT. After inserting it, I retrieve the image from the function and pass it if the device size is mobile.
As you can see from the images, the visual difference is noticeable.
Would it be possible to implement something like this yourself?
Hello Antonio, I think it's important to distinguish between same image on mobile and a different image for mobile devices. If it is same image the cropping applies for reason I mentioned earlier and it is important to to keep the point of interest close to the center of the image.
We can implement something like setting a different image for mobile devices as custom work for a fee or we can give you pointers on how and where to implement if you want to do it yourself.
No, I didn't mean to implement the paid feature just for myself.
I meant if you intended to apply this change as a template update to make it more responsive, because based on what you said, using a single image limits your choice of image. Obviously, if the image necessarily has side elements, they're lost on tablets and mobile devices.
Too bad, it would have been a great feature for the template.
On the page I linked to, when I insert the Elementor gallery widget, the Lightbox functionality doesn't work, so I can't open the images.
Even if I enable lazy loading, the system doesn't even load the images.
Could there be some interference with your template?
