I have noticed a recurring issue with the theme both on my installation and when testing your official demo.
Problem: Sometimes when navigating from the homepage to any project page in the <!-- Portfolio Projects List --> section using an AJAX transition, the page does not load. The loader stays on the screen indefinitely and the URL does not change.
Details: The issue occurs randomly (not on every click), but often enough to be disruptive to the user experience.
I checked the console: there are no obvious JavaScript errors, but it seems that the LazyLoad/AJAX callback chain sometimes does not complete.
This issue is always present when animations are disabled (in WordPress settings on the homepage).
Question: Could you please confirm if this is a known issue with AJAX page transitions? Is there a patch or recommended solution (e.g. adjustment in LazyLoad() or PageLoadActions()), or how to gracefully disable AJAX in this case and return the normal loading of page navigation? As an intermediate developer, I can work with the code if you have solutions.
P.S. I've attached some videos to show you problem directly. I've reduced files size, so do not worry about not smooth animations.
This is good news. To find out the version, I looked in the root file of the Bennet theme style.css. It says that the version is 1.2. Date of creation is March 10, 2025. I purchased and downloaded about one month ago this theme from https://themeforest.net/item/bennet-creative-portfolio-html-template/56477662 , where it is also indicated that the last update was on January 30, 2025. Was version 1.3 with this fix released later?
How can I get the updated version? And most importantly, how can I update the site files so as to eliminate bugs and so that this does not interfere with the current functionality of the site? I do not want to redo whole site because of one bug.... Please describe it to me in detail.
I am writing to clarify a confusing situation regarding the Bennet theme I purchased.
I bought the Bennet theme (v1.2) from Envato (ThemeForest) for $14. Recently, I experienced issues with page loading, and in your support you mentioned that these bugs are fixed in version 1.3. However, when I checked the Envato page of the theme I purchased, the latest update is listed as January 30th (https://themeforest.net/item/bennet-creative-portfolio-html-template/56477662).
Today I discovered that you also have another Bennet theme page on Envato, which is sold for $29 and shows a recent update on August 22nd (https://themeforest.net/item/bennet-creative-portfolio-wordpress-theme/57953521). From the outside, it looks like the same theme, but separated into two different products with different update timelines and prices.
This situation is very confusing for customers:
I already purchased Bennet in good faith, expecting future updates and bug fixes to be available.
Now it seems I have to pay again for a different listing of the same theme, just to receive bug fixes and the latest version.
Nowhere in the description or documentation was it explained that customers should purchase the second listing in order to keep receiving updates.
Could you please clarify:
Why there are two separate Envato listings for the same theme?
Do I really need to pay again ($29) just to get an updated version of the theme with bug fixes?
As a paying customer, can I receive access to the updated version (1.3) without being forced to repurchase?
I believe it is fair that customers who already purchased the theme should not be required to buy a second copy simply to receive bug fixes. I kindly ask you to resolve this situation and provide access to the proper updated version.
This forum is dedicated exclusively to WordPress themes. So if you want WordPress you can buy it and then submit a refund request for the HTML template.
I don't know why, but every time I tried to find a link to the Bennet theme, I got the HTML version. Sorry, it was my mistake between these versions of the template.
I will download the updated version for the Wordpress theme and let you know about the problem with loading the page.
Just try next steps to spot it: Download homepage -> Scroll down to the first case (Son of a Tailor) and click on the image -> When you download case page click button Back in browser (Google Chrome) -> When you came back to the homepage just click on this case again -> Here we have loop downloading of the page without URL transition
Could you fix it or describe how can I fix or avoid it (maybe cut AJAX transition)?
Followed the use case you described but we were not able to reproduce it - tried in incognito mode with a hard refresh. go to home page -> click on the first portfolio item -> click Back browser button and then again first portfolio item.
HOWEVER, i can make it so that when you go back in the browser will force a full page reload which we hope will fix the issue you are having.

This also happens directly on the demo site on themeforest, where I purchased this template: http://preview.themeforest.net/item/bennet-creative-portfolio-html-template/full_screen_preview/56477662 . On your official demo the same problem: http://bennet.clapat.com/ . So it does not seem to be related only to my configuration.
I checked the console: there are no obvious JavaScript errors, but it seems that the LazyLoad/AJAX callback chain sometimes does not complete.

Hello Ollya,
The latest version of the theme is available for download from Envato.
You can remove the theme in the WP dashboard and install the new version. The content and options are not erased between upgrades.
Backup your theme before to be on the safe side.
Alternatively, you can unpack and copy via ftp the latest version.
the folder location is wp-content/themes/
If you did custom work and modified the theme files, you have the merge the changes.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you.

HOWEVER, i can make it so that when you go back in the browser will force a full page reload which we hope will fix the issue you are having.
