Hello, I sent a ticket yesterday on the same issue. Now I have more info, thanks to Hostinger. I did an inspect element in the wordpress console I received 2 error messages.
Hostinger explained to me:
SSL certificate for clapat.ro is expired or invalid, which is preventing resources (like videos or images) from loading on your site.
Can you fix this?
I have been grappling with this for 3 days now and am so frustrated.
Go into the PRESS section where the image gallery is and you'll see it doesn't download. Please respond asap since I've been grappling with this issue for 4 days now. I'm falling behind on my deadline. Thank you!

Hi Paul,
you can disable ajax page transitions in customizer -> general settings and try again see if the gallery works properly.
