I'm not able to get any of the motion effects to work in the Montoya theme, and when I originally downloaded the theme, none of the templated pages were included in the theme.
I can see you started working on your content already. Butt, if you can provide wp admin access in a private comment we can import demo data free of charge. This will give you a snapshot of our live demo you can start customizing from.
You need to replace the demo images scattered throughout content with your own, coming from media library. Browsers are blocking them because of the CORS policy.
Regarding vertical scroll, horizontal scroll, and the transparency effect are they Elementor effects?

I also just noticed everytime you click to go to a different page on the site, there's this screen flash that happens. Its not the same smooth transition as what's in the demo.

Hi Chris, to get the same smooth effects you see in our live demo, you should enable ajax page transitions ins customizer -> general settings
Regarding Elementor scrolling effects try testing them again with smooth scrolling disabled in the same section of the customizer
