I'm experiencing an issue with the Manifesto theme when the "Load Pages With Ajax" option is enabled. When navigating to a page through the menu or other navigation elements, images fail to load on the first visit (showing black background instead of images). The images only appear after refreshing the page (F5).
When I disable the "Load Pages With Ajax" option in theme settings, all images load correctly on the first visit. This issue occurs on all pages of the site that contain images.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Enable "Load Pages With Ajax" in theme settings 2. Navigate to any page with images through the menu 3. Images don't load (black background appears) 4. Refresh the page 5. Images appear correctly
Could you please help me resolve this issue while keeping the Ajax loading functionality enabled?
Since we don't have the page URL we assume that the images are part of a plugin or add on? if not , are they lazy loaded?
The thing with AJAX is that CSS styles are usually loaded in the header of the page, dynamic js effects in the footer.
When a page is loaded with ajax header and footer stay the same (the original starting page), the content is loaded in an inner container.
We recommend using our shortcodes/Gutenberg blocks/Elementor widgets that are guaranteed to work with ajax. Or disable ajax in customizer -> general settings. You can also keep the ajax on and add the page containing the elements as custom menu link therefore bypassing ajax.
Hello Thank you for your reply. I will be very grateful if you help me fix this problem. As far as I understand, the problem also occurs when I go through the menu for some reason. When I go through the main menu there is no problem, but when I go through the submenu, this problem occurs. I gave you the login details for the site and I will be very grateful when you help.
When I disabled Ajax transitions between pages, Unfortunately, the preloader is also disabled. But in principle, I would like the loader to work on the site only once per session, when a person just enters, this would be logical.
And what about optimization. I need lagest contentful paint aprox 2 sec . Now its 5-7
And of course it would be nice if you could keep the Ajax transition between pages, you would help. Thank you.
however, we can enable preloader when ajax is enabled if you provide correct wp admin access with full rights using Appearance -> Theme file editor
Now, I suspect you are using images that are implemented by a third party plugin.

Hi Thank you for your reply. I would be grateful if you solved only one problem, this is the speed of content appearance on the page and when switching between them. For me, search engine optimization of the site and loading speed are very important. I agree to even disable many additional functions of the site, the main thing is that the page loads quickly.
Ok so I see you have installed Wp Rocket which is good (with caching). However the home page is quite big in size (16Mb) the images are most of them optimized for web with the exception of 1.5 Mb
Thank you for your response. I would like to speed up the website a bit, specifically in the following aspect. When I navigate from one page to another, the header section appears first, and then about one and a half seconds later, the image loads. Is it possible to speed up this process somehow?I tried using a different theme, and with that one, everything loaded instantly.
Perhaps you could modify the code slightly or provide some recommendations on how to improve the website's performance on a programming level.
Additionally, if I create a custom link in the menu for certain pages, is there a way to make the preloader work only on specific pages?

if the images are lazy loaded can you disable lazy loading and try again?
Thank you.

Hi Mark,
if I try to login here

I get a 404 page error

For example we have image popups, gallery, sliders etc.

That's actually part of page loading effects which is part of the design - do you want to disable that?
Thank you.
