You need to replace the demo images scattered throughout content with your own, coming from media library. Browsers are blocking them because of the CORS policy.

Hello, yes definitely, you can change that in page options -> hero section tab (Edit - not Edit with Elementor)

Editing the theme is fairly easy: you have the portfolio items and normal pages with options and content. The most important page and portfolio options are the hero image and captions (title and subtitles). The content can be edited as for normal  pages, nothing special about it.

Now, regarding the hero title you can change it in page or portfolio item options, hero section tab (admin -> Pages or admin -> Portfolio and then edit a specific page or portfolio item,  just 'Edit' not 'Edit with Elementor', scroll past the editor area to get to the options panel)
