I previously asked a question about removing an effect on the portfolio page where images appear as you scroll down the page. You responded with the following:
"Hello, you can open /js/scripts.js and remove or comment lines 1288 to 1317. Hard refresh before testing (Ctrl+F5). Thanks."
However, I couldn't find the path /js/scripts.js. I am using Visual Code with FTP and have access to all the directories in the folder. Even so, I couldn't find the specified path.
Lastly, I have another issue regarding removal of items. I would like to remove the title from the contact page, which seems to be the hero section. Apparently, there is an option to remove it at the bottom of the editing page, but it doesn't seem to work.
/js/scripts.js is the path relative to the root theme folder so that's where the theme installation is
for example /wp-content/themes/montoya/js/scripts.js
You can disable hero section for a specific page in page options however you should also disable the default hero section that displays the page title. You can do this in customizer -> general settings.
