I just purchased this theme – which is suppose to work with Gutenberg OR Elementor. It does not work with elementor. I noticed one other person already commented this as well. I’m surprised this hasn’t been fixed.
I completely reset the site and reinstalled, this time not enabling the Gutenberg plugin – thinking it would revert to Elementor. It did not.
What do I need to do to get it to work with Elementor.
1. first of all, install Elementor in admin -> plugins. Obviously, this is a must.
2. when Elementor is installed: you will be prompted to install Montoya Elementor Widgets plugin. It implements theme's widgets. You can see them listed under Montoya category in the left side panel of the Montoya editor.
3. if you use the wizard to install and configure the theme, skip import demo data step as this will import demo data built with Gutenberg.
4. in the main archive you will see the /demo-data/elementor/ folder. Use import.xml file to import Elementor demo data using WordPress importer tool.
We would also like to remind you we can install and setup demo data free of charge if you provide wp admin access in a private comment.
