When in the 'customize' drop down, when editing my site, there is an option in the menu settings to make a page / link open up in a new tab when the title of it is clicked on in the menu. However, when I click for this setting to be active for a page, it does not work and the page still opens on the same tab. I have a menu item titled 'Video' located in 'Personal Work' > 'Churches, 2020'. This is the link I would like to open as a new tab. Though this 'Video' is designed to open to a Youtube video, leaving the site, even pages which remain as part of the site are unable to open in a new tab using this setting change.
Ok, I see what you mean. if you can provide wp admin access in a private comment with full access using appearance -> theme file editor in case we need to do some debugging.
One thing though, before anything else : we recommend adding the youtube link as custom menu link and opening in a new tab. Let us know if it works
Thank you for your help. I have the current page for 'Video' set up as a custom link, but I attempted making a new menu item with a custom link to go to the Youtube video, and that still did not work. I will make private comment with the access.
