I need to enable videos on a portfolio page to auto-play, remove controls, and loop. These are all options available in the basic Elementor widget. I need this so the videos can be seen as a content block in the portfolio, rather than a user-initiated playback.
The Humpton plugins move that video widget down into a different section and remove the options. Is there a way to enable the basic options either in the editor or by adding the video via a shortcode that includes these parameters?
This will enable the default Elementor widget - which then you can use.
you can use the wp admin -> plugin editor for this
Trouble is some the Elementor widgets are not user friendly so they may not work properly with ajax page transitions on. That's why we recommend theme's widgets (specially geared for ajax)
This is the simplest solution. The alternative is to modify the Humpton video widget (custom work)

and remove/comment the following line (298)
