Creating a separate web page/link for client proofing

    Hello,

I am currently using the Trent theme on my website. I am a designer who wants to have the capability to email my clients proofs via a link from my website rather than a PDF via email. In essence, this will eliminate my clients trying to combine ideas from previous proofs. The link will be replaced each time with an updated link that would need to be specific for each client/project.

Could you tell me if this feature would be possible and if so recommend how I would go about doing this? Would it work best to be a blog page? It would not need to be shown on the main page itself, just serve as a private link for each client. I assume it would need to be labeled private and also possibly be password protected so it would be specific for each client?

    Hello Sara,

if I understand your workflow correctly, yes you can setup password protected pages for each 'proof link'

    therefore

    - they are not included in the one pager so they are 'hidden'

    - only the clients will know the password

    - you can update the link inside the page at anytime

There may be plugins our there serving this specific purpose however you can work with WP native functionality

See various WordPress Plugins to restrict the visibility in this link

    Thank you.
