We have a video block that accepts self hosted videos

You can host theme anywhere you have direct access to video links (and therefore to .mp4 and .webm files).

It can be your media library or a CDN (recommended)

Hello Manuel,

1) You've actually setup the webm video file in the hero section, gj on that and you just need to add video poster image as hero image. This way will be displayed in the portfolio page templates.

2) The About page : gj adding the clipped image block however in the video URL field of the clipped image setup you need to add the actual video URL as you paste it to the portfolio item options at point #1

and not the <video> tag

So, if you examine the hero section in a portfolio page you will see that you have

- the hero title (upper part)

- then underneath you have the hero info text (containing also a link - View Website)

- finally bottom left corner you have the scroll caption 'Scroll To Explore'

All these you can setup in a hero section. You can enable video hero mode and add there the paths / URLs for mp4 and webm versions of the video files. This way you will make it as video portfolio item.
