I recently purchased the Harington theme and wanted to inquire how to use Elementor with the theme? I was under the impression that it was fully compatible with the plugin. Also, on the "Spaced Metro" home page, how would I update the case study images?

Editing the theme is fairly easy: you have the portfolio items and normal pages with options and content. The most important portfolio options are the hero image and captions (title and subtitles). The content can be edited as for normal pages, nothing special about it.
The portfolio page templates do not display the content entered in the editor. They just build the layout automatically based on portfolio items options (hero image, hero title, subtitle, background etc) and the options of the page having this template. These options are not configurable through the editor but in wordpress admin.
So to edit the portfolio page templates you basically edit their page options and then create / modify the portfolio items under admin -> portfolio
We finished setting up the demo data, please verify.
You need to replace the demo images scattered throughout content with your own, coming from media library. Browsers are blocking them because of the CORS policy.
The setting you mentioned can be found in customizer -> portfolio settings (already enabled)

Also, I am not able to scroll on a portfolio page or any page for that matter when I try to edit a page with Elementor, and how would I put the hero parallax image below the project name just like the live demo of the theme on themeforest? If you click on the small eyeball button in Elementor to view the project page, you can also see what I mean. And how would I set up the menu to act like the live demo menu on desktop and mobile?
Could I receive assistance with this as well please? There are a few screenshots attached for reference!
Here is another reference for how once a user clicks on a project on the main page, the image slides down and the project title reveals. How would I set this up?
- in order to be able to scroll the pages in Elementor editor I temporarily disabled smooth scrolling in customizer -> general settings
- to have the same page transitions as our live demo (when you click the thumbnail of a portfolio item, for example) you have to make sure you have customizer -> general settings -> ajax page transitions enabled
- to have the burger menu on desktop and mobile you must enable 'Fullscreen burger menu lines' in customizer -> header settings but in your case it looks like you have an Elementor header that is simply taking over the theme's header.
- to setup a project image you must assign a hero image in portfolio item options:
I'm just wondering how Francesca managed to get the "edit mode" with Elementor :) (see printscreen).
In my attached image I can't find it. I just purchased theme today and I've imported the xml as mentioned in the documentation (I normally use Elementor).
I also can't see any images even if I got all of them in my media files (see printscreen). The only image that's actually working is the hotel video (see printscreen).

Maybe I did some steps forward; I activated the "Post type" for all the type of pages and kinda worked for some pages (see printscreen) - I didn't did it before as mentioned on the official documentation (I only did Portfolio).
Yes, you need to enable Elementor for the Portfolio custom post types as an extra step after importing demo data.
If you import demo data, try replacing hero demo images for ALL portfolio items with images coming from your domain/media library, on some sites the webgl will complain about images coming from a different domain due to a enforced CORS policy.
You can change the hero image in portfolio item options and you can find the original demo images there (imported)
If you still have issues send us wp admin access in a private ticket so we can verify.

Also, how do I set the theme up to go directly to the next project from the previous one just like the Harington Live Preview demo?
