I'm just starting with your theme and can't manage to show the home page.
I followed this instructions, but no matter what I do is useless.
1. a main page in 'One Page' template 2. the main page is set as front page in Settings -> Reading 3. a Home page with the 'Default' template assigned as 'Home' section 4. The home page appears first in the Main Menu

you need two pages: :)
- home - which is the home section, 'Default Page' template and set as Home section and included first in the menu
- main page - which is the container and 'One Page' template and assigned as front page in Settings -> Reading
