Is there a way to exclude a category on the portfolio pages? I have one category that I want to treat separately. I would like to build a showcase page just for that category (call it "extras") but I don't want those posts showing up on my main "work" page.
Other that hacking the theme to exclude it, is there an easier way?

Hi Daniel,
Absolutely, in every portfolio page template options you have a special field 'Category Filter'
There you can paste a list of one or more categories to include in the page template
So basically, you can paste there a list of all categories separated by comma, excluding the category you want to hide
