My website speed score is very bad on pagespeed. I use WPRocket, I compressed my images so that they do not weigh more than 200-300kb, I converted them to webp but nothing changes!
Being a photographer, I have no choice but to have a lot of photos but after some research, it seems that the problem comes mainly from the number of resources loaded.
There are many javascript resources, they take time to load and consume a lot of CPU.
I would not use the Google SPeed as a good indicator since it also reports WordPress files. The theme as you know runs and it is implemented on the WordPress platform. Much more useful is to use the Network tab in the developer tools
There you can see which elements take the longest to load
The images have a good size however I'm not sure why the server takes so long to send them (the green bar) whereas the content download is almost instantaneous (the blue bar)
"Waiting (TTFB). The browser is waiting for the first byte of a response. TTFB stands for Time To First Byte. This timing includes 1 round trip of latency and the time the server took to prepare the response."

How to solve this problem?

Hello Sylvain

According to their docs
"Waiting (TTFB). The browser is waiting for the first byte of a response. TTFB stands for Time To First Byte. This timing includes 1 round trip of latency and the time the server took to prepare the response."
https://developer.chrome.com/docs/devtools/network/reference/?utm_source=devtools#timing-explanation
Thank you.
