Hello, just came back with a solution. plz add in customizer -> additional CSS
@media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) {
  .news-panel .panels-container .panel img {
  width: auto;
  height: 100%;
  display: block;
  max-width: 100%;
  }
}
hard refresh (Ctrl+F5) before testing
