Hi, I bought this theme after reading the documentation and that it uses video in the headers. Unfortunately the main use for our client is video on the landing page header and now realised that video is only working with portfolio items.
Do you plan to release an update with video in page headers? This just makes sense if you took the time to do it in portfolio items, then pages should also feature it.
I think we've already answered your question to the dashboard however we repeat it here:
You do have the ability to use self hosted videos (.mp4 or .webm) in the portfolio items’ hero sections. Not in the normal pages as you mentioned. Main reason being for portfolio items you can have video thumbnails in portfolio grid layouts. In showcase video slides are not supported as WebGL canvas displays only images.
Now, you can simply disable the hero section entirely in a specific page and insert a video cover header block at the very beginning. Or we can do a custom work for you .
Would be great if you did the custom work and updated the theme. This is a fix I'm sure many of your customers would want. Otherwise it is useless to me now.
Great - so for you to do the custom work, what details do you need from my side? Also what is the timeline because I'm under a bit of pressure to have the video header integrated ASAP.

I have exactly the same problem, I would like to put a video on the header of my homepage but the option is only available in the portfolio section. Is it possible to add the option in the settings of all the pages?
this was meant by design. if you want to change it with custom work we can do it for a small fee. Or we can give you pointers on what and where to change. Either cases plz open a new private ticket.

Hi again,
Just noticed a few other things on mobile.
1. Header videos in porfolio items do not play video
2. Blog posts carousel gets cut off after 2.5 posts has scrolled. I have setup 4 blog posts and need to see all 4 on mobile.
