I'm using theme Newave on my homepage. Seems like the theme is only compatible with PHP version 7.4. This version will soon expire and I'm forced to update to PHP version 8.0 or later. Is there an update for the theme so I still can use it in the future? Brgds Marcus
We tested the theme to the best of our abilities on PHP 8.0.2 platform and we released a new update 2.9.4 that addresses one issue we found with it.
Plz download it and do an upgrade before switching to a newer version of PHP. Be prepared to switch back if a new issue comes up and plz notify us immediately.

where can I download the update 2.9.4?

The latest version of the theme is available for download from envato.
You can remove the theme in the WP dashboard and install the new version.The content and options are not erased between upgrades.
Backup your theme before to be on the safe side.
Alternatively, you can unpack and copy via ftp the latest version.
the folder location is wp-content/themes/
If you did custom work and modified the theme files, you have the merge the changes.
