Whenever I upload a hero image to use on the showcase slider, the slider ignores the aspect ratio and stretches the image and ruins the quality.
How can I stop or prevent this?
I'm using the same images that were on the demo page for comparison purposes.

Update: I solved it by deleting Wordpress + its' database and just starting over.

that's great! as a general guideline try keeping the images in the showcase slider same size (aspect ratio) to avoid stretching by the WebGL canvas.
