Hi

Does anyone have any experience using ACF in the newave theme? It doesn't seem to work for the Homepage Section.

I have enabled "Show the content of the home page" in the Home Options, but as i understand this is related only to the WYSIWYG editor. When putting ACF shortcodes into the editor, the output on the Homepage is just the word "Array"

I've also tried to implement the PHP code into the page.php file, but this gives no output at all... (of course ACF is configured to use the right .php file as well as the page uses the appropriate template.

Any suggestion how to display ACF fields content on the Home Section is very welcome!

Hi again

I was able to manage the integration on the homepage, but i had to add the ACF codedirectly into the "home_section_parallax_image.php" file. 

When i make a copy of the file, add the ACF code there and assign this template to the site, it dosnt render anything, just the normal homepage content.

Does anyone know how to make it work with a custom template?
