Editing the theme is fairly easy: you have the portfolio items and normal pages with options and content. The most important portfolio options are the hero image and captions (title and subtitles). The content can be edited as for normal  pages, nothing special about it.

If you can provide wp admin access we can import demo data free of charge. This will give you a snapshot of our live demo you can start customizing from. We have demo content built with Gutenberg and WPBakery.

Under admin -> portfolio you will see al portfolio items, plz go about and edit them and then in portfolio item options you can change the hero image.

The new hero image will be displayed in the slide.

You can go to customizer -> portfolio settings to change the custom slug. Just enter your own and after saving the changes go to Settings -> Permalinks and press 'Save' to refresh them.

In order to completely remove it you may want to use a plugin:

Try refreshing the permalinks by going to 'Settings -> Permalinks' and press Save

you just need to add a new portfolio item under admin -> portfolio and set the hero image for them.

Setting a hero image and hero caption (title & subtitle) is important
