I just purchased (on envato market) your theme and I just DON'T understand where to change the pictures of the landing pages.
I mean I bought your theme just for that : on your demo, there is a picture full screen when arriving on the site, and then on clicking on "next slide" there is another, etc. And THAT's what I like. Or I can't figure out where to change the pictures, where, how to put it full screen, etc. I just read your documentations and I don't find any info about this. Can you help me ?
Configuring the showcase slider is very simple: you create portfolio items under admin -> portfolio and then you change the hero image and hero caption(s) in portfolio item options
They will be reflected in all portfolio page templates. There are several page templates among which you will find the showcase slider. So you just have to change the page template in page attributes.
Thanks for your answer. I figured it out all by myself this week-end but I don't have good news for you : It's still does not work. None of your demo images is showed and when I upload my pictures in Hero, it does not work for "fullscreen slider" too. But it does work for "parallax slider". Which is weird. Second bad news : it's not 100% responsive : when I use my smartphone vertically, i see what I see on my Pc, it's perfect, but when I turn my phone horizontal : both the hero pictures and hero caption text disappear and it's all black. Can you help me ? Do you have an anwser for this ? I am considerating getting refund and change theme. I can give you access to my wordpress if you want so you can check it out by yourself. By the way I am using wordpress 5.6.3
1. The reason why our demo images don't show on your site it's because our demo site does not run on https so you would have an invalid certificate error
You should replace the hero images for ALL portfolio items with your own of, if you import the demo data, you can use the ones from media library
2. If I get your issue right: there is a reason we have the mobile landscape view rotating image which indicates the best preview is portrait. the top and bottom bars will cover much of the content which has a smaller height anyway in landscape view.
to enable landscape however add this to customizer -> additional CSS
@media only screen and (min-device-width : 375px) and (max-device-width : 667px) and (orientation : landscape) {
#rotate-device {
display:block;
}
}
3. our demo runs on WordPress 5.7.1 - the latest - you can send us wp admin access to check what's wrong with your installation

Regarding fullscreen slider that employs a different technology - WebGL:
I you import demo data, try replacing ALL hero demo images with ones coming from your own domain, on some sites the webgl will complain about images coming from a different domain due to a enforced CORS policy. Otherwise the fullscreen slider won't work at all.

Which I did and now your images show as well - the last two portfolio items had images coming from our live demo site

This is a shortcoming of WebGL and the workaround is to replace all hero images with ones coming from your own domain.
