On the home page of my website www.karaeid.com, each portfolio item does not have a "featured image" that shows, as the example theme does. For example, my portfolio item called "Product Marketing" does have an image uploaded into the section "hero image" but that image does not show up on the home page of the site.
first of all make sure you assign a hero image to each portfolio item (when you edit a portfolio item you will see the hero image in its options: https://prnt.sc/wg4nzf)
If this still does not work send us wp admin access in a private comment.
