Hey guys, I am having a problem with the portfolio on our site. It's not functioning, in that it's not dropping down to show the portfolio section when you click on an imageI recently activated WP-Super Cache and had to change the permalinks settings from default. i don't know if this could have been a cause. Could I get some advice on a plan of action to correct this?
I also added WP Smush.it also, if that helps. And have used it to optimize some images. Other than that I think these are the only changes I've made since the last time the portfolio worked.
Hey, Thanks for the reply! Yes, you are exactly describing the problem I am having. We host through a local company, which was set up before I worked here. This company provides us with FTP access, but that is it. I did a domain whois search and saw that our servers are located through Dreamhost.

I can see the portfolio expands but sometimes I see a blank screen instead of the portfolio slider.
Do you host with yahoo by any chance?

Several users reported the same pb and changing the host fixed the pb.

Thanks for the quick reply guys. I don't have the option of changing hosting so I'm going to try
adding this to my custom CSS:
.element_fade_in { opacity: 1; position: relative; padding-left: 0px; right: 0px; }
This is the work around that you were referring to, correct? I'll try this and report back on how it works.
