Do/did you have WPBakery installed on your site? if yes plz try ro remove the plugin first. If it does not appear in the plugins list try to remove it manually with FTP from the /wp-content/plugins/ folder
Regarding your second question what kind of front page you have in Settings -> Reading?
The Page is listed as a Post page, but I fear the problem is the Bakery thing.
I don't know how to get to FTP to delete files in WordPress. I do it all via GoDaddy. Can you give me a hint of how to delete the directory. WP says it's installed, but I haven't been able to find it.
I'm helping Jefferson...WP Bakery isn't installed. It keeps failing to install saying that the folder already exists. I've delete it and it still fails. This is a staging server on GoDaddy.com
I'm wondering if WPBakery multilanguage I see in Jefferson's screenshot is the same as the original WPBakery. I suspect not, although it may use the same folder name to store the files.

So how do I get it to install? He is on a GoDaddy managed account, but I can see the files.
You must delete the files (the js_composer folder) use FTP or a file explorer otherwise the plugin installation will keep failing
