Showcase images not showing

On my homepage that uses the showcase template, only the project names show, without any images behind. I've tried deleting and uploading all images, but this hasn't fixed the issue.

Are you able to help with this please?

    Hello Sean,

Here is the problem: you change all images with your own, however they are being served from a different domain than your site.

    https://prnt.sc/vmycaj

Is it possible to contact your service provider and modify the settings so although they are stored on CDN they will have your domain name URL?

    Thank you.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Is there any reason why all the other images load correctly on other pages though as they're all uploaded the same way? Is this not a code / link issue?

    Thanks,

    Sean

It's the WebGL that's complaining (integrated as part of the slider showcase)  the rest of the layouts do not use WebGL

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I've been told CDN is enabled, but I'm not sure if that's helpful as I still can't get the images to show on the showcase template.

    Thanks,

    Sean

Yes, it seems so - is it possible to map the CDN URLs to your domain URLs (while still keeping your images on CDN)?

    Thank you.

How would I do this? My hosting is with GoDaddy, but doesn't give access to much other than a file browser?

Have other people had this issue before?

We did have several customers with the same issue. The thing is WebGL just bans all images that are not from the same domain. WebGL is a library used in the showcase slider.

So you either disable the CDN or map the URLs of the images to your own domain (I'm not sure exactly how you can achieve this as it is entirely up to the CDN server). You may achieve good loading speed if the images are relatively small and optimized for web.

Of course, if none of these work for you we are prepared to give you a refund.

    Thank you.

    Thanks for the reply.

I really like the theme and would love to get it to work if possible. So if I disabled the CDN, would that change the way the images are mapped / displayed? Do you think changing host provider would make any difference to this issue?

Yes, i think it would make a difference changing the hosting provider.

I assume that now when you go an upload an image to your media library it will be stored on CDN

in the admin backend they would appear as coming as coming from your own domain but when they are sent by the server with their CDN urls

    Thank you.
