Hey ClaPat Studio, So I recently bought the Hervin theme. From the demo site, it looks really nice and clean.
So i followed all the directions on setting up the Hervin theme (uploading to wordpress, downloading plugins, etc) but I can't seem to get the portfolio like home page you guys have. You guys mention that I have to choose the Full Screen Slider option but I can't find that anywhere.
Basically, how do I get my front page to look like the demo sites (with different photos obviously? I've spent a solid 4+ hours on playing around with the theme but I have gone no where.
Note: I uploaded the theme to a wordpress site that already has alot of content on it (So the theme is not running on a clean system). Maybe that has something to do with it? Probably not but just an idea?
Nevermind, I solved the issue. It turns out I have to change the Page Attributes to achieve what I want. You should include that in the Getting Started part
I'm glad you have been able to import the demo data. The fullscreen slider page is included there and you just need to set it as front page in Settings -> Reading
If you create your own page then yes you need to set it as Showcase Slider page template in its page attributes.
