Yes I have seen some ticket directing to the wpml config file, but from my understanding this is mainly for the backend of the site. Do you have any support for translating front-end interface too?

Hello Robin,
We provide with the theme a wpml config file, so WPML is the first choice but I understand Polylang recognizes it as well.

The wpml config file tells wpml which global theme options, page options & portfolio options are translatable.
this in turn affect the front end. For example elements such as button captions, labels etc
