I have been trying to decrease my page load speed on mobile and desktop.

One major issue that I have been unable to resolve is..."Eliminate Render Blocking Resources"

I have tried to use several plugins such as autoptimize and the minify function on my activated plugin W3 Total Cache, but the cause the site to crash.

As you know, one factor that make or break your page rank is your page speed, so I need to get this resolved.

    Please help!

    Hi Eric.

keep only /js/scripts.js unminified the other js files included in the theme are minified already. You can minify the css files.

    Thank you.

I'm still trying to decrease my page load speed, so I installed WP-Optimize plugin. I opened the images compressor in settings and used their image compression feature to compress all my images.

I also "optimized database tables, cleaned all post revisions, auto-draft and trash posts, and removed spam comments"

Now when I open a new page, the images do not load. Upon refresh the images will then load properly.

Apparently this plugin also doesn't work with my theme.  Can you help please!

    Hello Eric,

on our demo we use https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smushit/ to optimize the images and W3 Total Cache for caching.

Also you may want to consider moving your site to a CDN

You have a 2.4s load on gtmetrix which is pretty good

    Thank you.

Awesome thanks. Thats the setup that I prefer as well.

Also, I am trying to trim all the fat and delete unused plugins and images. I do not need to have WPBakery Page Builder installed to fully develop my website using Munio, correct?

Well Eric, if you can get rid of WPBakery that is great. Gutenberg is AJAX friendly so it won't give many headaches if you are using AJAX page transitions. It does add an overload to your site.

    Thank you.
