I wonder if the Hervin Slider Gallery supports upright photos. I can put them in the gallery, but it automatically enlarges them to the width of the lendscape and doesn't look nice. So I wonder if it is possible to keep the original sizes and a transparent background is added automatically.
If this is not possible, I must change all portrait photos in PS to "landscape"

if you are referring to the slider included at the bottom of the page (Hervin Slider) the way you created the images is the best approach.
