I want to use a showcase page as a Home menu to navigate throught other pages. So, how can I make portfolio items listed in a showcase page linking at other pages than his item page ? (like contact page, about page, another showcase page, etc).

My second problem is : I want to use an other showcase page normally, to expose my creations, but this second showcase have to show different portfolio items than the first (different than the Home menu). How can I do that ?

I can understand some CSS and HTML language, so, if I have to change the code, I think it's ok, but I can't find the solution myself.

The solution to link to a custom URL is a thing I'm really looking for.

But after after thinking about it, If I can't create 2 distinct and not linked portfolios categories, can I make my Home menu showcase slider listing my Menu bar instead of my portfolio items ?

I think I can hide the project navigation at the bottom.

But maybe this other solution can work : making a copy of the "showcase-page.php", and rename it "showcase-menu.php" to have 2 types of showcase pages I can select.

"showcase-page.php" will still list my portfolio items, and I want "showcase-menu.php" to list my menu bar instead of my portofolio.

So I have to change the code of "showcase-menu.php" to make this page show only my menu bar, not my portfolio items.

Do you think this solution can work ? And if this work, how to do it in the code ? (I don't understand well JS and AJAX)

Ok I have to understand there is no real solution for my problem.

So bad I really needed to do that. I'll search another theme that can do something similar.

Ok i can hide this button, but the showcase slider will continue to show all the portfolio items. But I want 2 separate portfolios : 1 for the menu 1 for my real portfolio, with 1 slider showing the first postfolio, and 1 slider showing the second portfolio.

By making a copy of "showcase-page.php", I created a new page template called "showcase-menu.php", but the two pages share the exact same caracteristics.

If I exclude a portfolio item from a showcase, it exclude it from the other too.

I don't know how to do after that, because I think I have to touch the code, but I don't understand it enought.

First thing : I dont find the "custom link url" area. Where it is ?

Second thing : How I make the modifications to make the copy select only the portfolio items that have the custom link url not empty and will ignore the 'Exclude from showcase flag' ?

I'm ok to have a quote in private comment if you can show me how to do that (because I don't understand the code).
