I've been reading through the WPBakery guide and Newave guides to try and disable background videos from auto-playing until they're actually on-screen, and I can't figure out at all how to do this. Can you please point me in the direction of hot to disable auto-play until the video is actually on-screen.
That's quite complex. you need implement an algorithm monitoring the scroll events and get the screen height of the video home section that will trigger a play. An the opposite, pause, when the section is out of view.

Yes that;s correct, the video background from home section. Ideally I'd want the video to start actually playing when it's in the user's view-port.
