The theme is lovely, particularly the clean looking design. 

However, the loading times are painfully slow. See the attached screenshot from a test on its speed. (slower than 83% of websites tested) 

Knowing large images can slow things down, I was careful to keep my image file sizes smaller. If I decrease them further, I am nervous they will look bad on large screens.

Also, when you click on the portfolio images, often they do not show up as they are supposed to underneath the thumbnail section. The screen will move down to that area, but nothing is returned/shows up.

I love the theme and want to continue using it, but it isn't going to be functional if these problems persist.

I have my fingers crossed this is an easy fix! Please help!

I would like to echo Megan's note. The site is beautiful, but it loads painfully slow! Is there any way to speed it up? Maybe a lazy load function? And can we turn off the smooth scroll, which is quite choppy? Thanks!
