2. You don't need to if you don't have too. The recommended editor is Gutenberg. However, as we recognize WPBakery is a popular editor, we ensured that all our shortcodes are mapped as WPBakery elements
WpBakery elements in general are not compatible with AJAX transitions. We provide a child theme to make at least the basic elements work with AJAX and that can be found in the main archive.

Custom js code can be tricky if you are using ajax loading for navigation between pages.

1. You can only use URLs of the self hosted videos in mp4 and webm formats, not vimeo codes or embedded html codes. Vimeo is exposing these URLs
