    Hello, good morning,

I am creating a Wp website using your nice and cool theme.
I am happy with all the features that it offers but I am finding a problem in linking a page to another, adding an anchor to scroll to a specific element in the page. I am able to scroll between elements while inside the same page (this means that the anchor is working) but when coming from another page i think the loading is blocking the scrolling.

Example: press page will have 90 entries and I would like to link some of them to a specific post in order to read more. So, you can click on the blue + next to the main image and load the post to read more. When finished reading the article, you should click on "back to press" (bottom of the page) and go back to the press page but with an anchor to the specific entry so that you don't have to manually scroll again.
The behaviour I currently get is to load the press page but not moving to the specific anchor.

Any suggestion? Have I forgot to do something? Thank you very much for your help!

    Tom

    Hello Tom,

    Lovely site.

Can you try this thing first:

the links of the blue button leading to the post and the Back to Press - to be

    <a href="url here" class="ajax-link" data-type="page-transition"> ... </a> ?

    (that's if you prefer AJAX)

Second, can you disable Smooth scroll in appearance -> theme options and see if it's working with this setting off?

    Thank you.

Hello and thanks for your reply.
I have tried the solution you have suggested me but with no luck. I have added the new link and also made sure that the Smooth scroll was disabled. I guess the page loads still blocks the scrolling.

    Thanks

Tom, you're right I think there is something blocking the anchor - I need to discuss a solution with our web designer.

However this may take a couple of days since he is away right now. I appreciate your patience.

    Thank you.
