Hey there! My site is ready now, but I am experiencing serious performance issues. The site takes a long time to load, even though I tried to optimize things with a caching plugin (helps a bit) and optimized all my images. There seems to be a delay of a few seconds before anything else but the logo will be loaded.
Is there something wrong with my configuration? I disabled smooth scrolling as well as the page preloader.
Once the page is loaded, portfolio items would be loaded much faster with Ajax on. Problem is that custom CSS will be mostly ignored, paddings will get lost that I built in with the Bakery. The site simply looks awful with Ajax, but is faster.
Is there anything I can do to speed things up and to have the Ajax option without ripping apart my paddings?

Hi Michael,
I get a a 3.2 seconds load with your content apparently minified now.
Setting up your site on a CDN would help improving the speed as well.
Also if you can get a VPS account.
