I would like to not have the categories displayed on the thumbnails of the portfolio picture, but i would still like to have the categorie feature on on my website. could you guys help me step by step? ive looked everywhere and i cant seem to find anything. thanks

if you don't want categories displayed on the thumbnail hide them with css
.item-cat {
display: none !important;
}
in customizer -> additional CSS
