You have not installed Redux Framework plugin, which is essential in having configurable theme, page, portfolio and post options.

Otherwise you end up with default options.

 Was there a reason you did not install it? there is a notice in admin bar if it's not installed saying the theme requires this plugin.

While at it I can upgrade WPBakery plugin, if you agree.

if this is related with blog posts isn't easier to create relevant categories and link the category pages in the menu?

I know, however filtering projects is more like portfolio grid with filters which we have in other themes except that Grenada does not have it, it is a showcase oriented theme.

My advice is to adapt your vision to theme's capabilities and in this regard the blog articles grouped by categories are a good fit.

Or you can exchange Grenada with any of our themes which have sliders + portfolio grids such as Wizzaro, Cubez, Soho, Bario. Free of charge.
