I'm trying to insert my logo into the header spot and it is turning out to be way to large. My content keeps starting at the very top of the page which causes it to overlap with my logo and navigation bar.
What size do you recommend for my logo image file? How can I get my navigation bar and logo to hide when I scroll down the page then reappear when I scroll up the page? How do I change the color on my transition animation?

the header should hide and re-appear by default:

Make sure you set your menu as Primary Menu in Appearance -> Menus

The header hides and re-appears on smaller screens. My screen is a 2560 x 1600 and it wasn't hiding or re-appearing. It was staying static.
I've attached 2 versions of logos. The header hiding or re-appearing on scroll is disabled when you are logged in into your wordpress admin
