However, the parallax looks amazing in safari and Firefox... but it's weird AF in Chrome. We've done very little to the site at all (just working with your theme and Wordpress adding content, etc. no customizing) so not sure why it's happening.

try adding

position: static !important;
}
in appearance -> customize -> additional CSS
We have actually fixed this issue in our latest version.
