Good evening, I have another question. It is possible to have different portfolio grid pages based on category, I mean showing just projects that have assigned an specific category ? Thanks again
Thank you, but still don´t see how to do it, Even when i have the creative grid layout selected, I don´t see any option to select one of the categories you have created. Thanks in advance for the patienbce, i am new to this
I have the same problem, and iI solved it with this process
You need too : 1- create a "categorie" in the portfolio section (and not in the article section). Ex : Art 2- create a page. ex Art. In this page, open the builder mode, add the layout you want (for the ex, i choose the Post masonry grid) 3- you have the symbol : modify post monsury grid (it s a pen, in a green pop up) when you clic on there, a window open with many option. One is : Narrow data source. In this part you can add your categorie ( here "Art"). 4- it s not finish, you need too change in the page option (below the page builder) "Portfolio layout type" (for my ex packery gril) 5- save 6- Add to the menu the page Art
Thank you so much Cloé and the ClaPat Support team, I have followed all the steps you described, but I still continue seing all the categories under the page photography that I have created, according to my portfolio category. I am going to add a couple of screenshots in case you can see what I am doing wrong
I think I have unsdestood part of it , there is no need to add anything with VC to the portfolio template as a did, now, i just dont know how to create a page with that URL and locate it under the main menu. I have created a custom link but it does not work...again...I have a lot to learn

and normally it's good.
Carmen, Cloé has very helpful with this comment. If you have any other questions let us know.
The main point is that the portfolio category is different the the normal blog post category and appears under Portfolio section.
Thank you.

Hi Carmen,
the VC Posts Grid and the portfolio template page are two different things.
I can't really advise on the first one.
A portfolio template page does not display its content, it just displays the portfolio items you created under Portfolio section in wp admin.
a photography category page would have the url http://your_site_url/portfolio_category/photography
you don't have to create anything else
Hope I explained so that it makes sense.
Thank you.

Can you provide wp admin access in a private comment? We can set an example for you.
Thank you.
