Hi, I'm very glad of the result of my web site using your soho theme. Great work.
I've a problem with the thumb-info h5 used on my pictures in my portfolio's
Everyting is ok on desktop and laptop screens.
But with ipad and iphone (I didn't have the opportunity to try with android tablets or phones), the thumb-info never appear on my page when I touch an image (see attach websitelive 1 or try this link for example http://www.jeromedemeestere.com/photograffiti/ ).
Strange is that when I look at my web site through the wordpres admin portal wordpress, evreything look perfect (see attach worpressadmin)
Any idea of the origin of the probleme and how could I fix it?

    Many thanks for your help.

Sorry, but that is not what I hoped.
What I would like is a first view on the page without thumbs-info. And with thumbs-info just appearing at first click on a picture (with the second click used to view the picture bigger in a single view). Is that not possible?

All the mouse over events seen on desktop/laptop  are translated in clicks once on iOS mobile... Everytime, i have to do two clicks instead of one..(the first hover, than the actual click). It's the way it works for your  "animated links"  or "the social links"... so I don't understand why It should not work like this for the pictures

PS: I remove the CSS code you've added

    Thanks.

On a browser with a cursor pointer, you'll see the pseudo element reveal itself on :hover

But clicking that link will not prevent the link from being visited. On iOS though, tapping the link will just reveal the pseudo element. It requires a second tap to actually go to the link.

Android doesn't seem to do this. It will quickly reveal the pseudo element, but also just go to the link as normal.

    Thank you.

    No sorry.
On iOS (iOS 10.3.2 on iPhone and iPad) it is actually impossible to have a "2 steps taps " on the images of my photo galleries. Tapping the link (=thubnail image) goes to the link (=zoomed image) directly (at first tap!) without reveal the pseudo element first.
After looking deeply, it seems that the pseudo element is revealed but just visible on the background thubnail image, once the zoomed image is revealed. In other words it's invisible.

Try to tap on one image on this page for example http://www.jeromedemeestere.com/photograffiti/ and you will see.

    Thanks for your help

    Hello,

Note that the problem seen on my website is exactly the same as on your Porfolio/Photography demo page http://preview.themeforest.net/item/soho-the-ultimate-portfolio-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/15752216?_ga=2.98886942.1208437179.1497878045-1992834845.1493300424

Hello, sorry but I think you didn't understand my remark.
You wrotre: "On iOS though, tapping the link will just reveal the pseudo element. It requires a second tap to actually go to the link." ... and that's precisely what I want to see.

And It works perfectly with this link for example: tap on the "enter the galleries" at the bottom of my home page: http://www.jeromedemeestere.com/

But It don't work when clicking on an image of either of my galleries. Try to click on one image of this page for example:
    http://www.jeromedemeestere.com/photograffiti/
There, the first tap goes directly to the link!  So it's impossible to see the pseudo element first!

So as it works for some links and not for these of the images of the galleries, I suppose it's a bug. Could you fix it please.

  • Jérôme replied

So, any idea of the css code needed to solve this problem on iOS?
Am I not clear with the description of the problem?
I just want that it works the way you say it should work on iOS. That's all.

    Thanks
