    edit - Have figured out how to get the site working.

    Is it possible to remove the comments section in posts?

    And also hide a title in the showcase (not all titles, just one with a video playing / no text on top?)

    Hello Tom

    Hide the comments with 

    div#comments {
    display: none;
    }

    in theme options -> styling options -> custom CSS

    Regarding your second question it can be done only with custom work
