    Hello.

    Looking to add a colour overlay with alpha and desaturation to my main portfolio display.

    I tried adding the below for the overlay but didn't work.

    .item:hover .item-overlay {

        background: rgba(0,0,0,0.85) !important;

    }

    Can you help?

    plz try adding

    .item .item-overlay-reveal:hover {

        background: rgba(0,0,0,0.85) !important;

    }

    in theme options -> styling options -> custom CSS
